Yes,the reviews are correct the food, atmosphere and customer service are 10/10 we are very picky when it comes to authentic food and eating here the flavor is 100% authentic/home made.food portions arethere is enough. parking available as it’s located of a shopping center, obviously they are very busy because food is amazing but the wait time was maybe less than 20 min long, customer service was top notch. prices are also very affordable and let me not forget to mention the music choice was cherry on the top! .you HAVE to try this place!

Love the delicious food, attentive service and energetic vibe! We started with the Carnitas Sliders. Generous and super tasty sliders. Buns were super soft and the sauce was the perfect addition! We also enjoyed the Ceviche Asiatico... it was so fresh and be sure to request extra crispy tortillas. Now buckle up Buttercup... Their Carnitas Enchildas are everything! It is just as tasty as they are beautiful!!! Yum!!! We loved their spicy shrimp fried rice and it was a large portions too. It took a moment for our drinks to come out... the Pain, Pain Go Away was absolutely perfection. The Lychee Garden was also a solid hit.. we ordered the Luna-Rita with lychee... we couldn't taste the lychee. The live band was outstanding and added to the amazing vibe. Douglas was our server and he was super friendly and attentive with helpful recommendations. We really had a great night and would recommend Luna for a great time with terrific food.

I saw an Instagram reel about this trendy restaurant and immediately ran to Google to check the reviews. My bf called to see if they took reservations (they don’t), so we decided to head in early to secure a table for our party of 5. It’s tucked into an unassuming shopping complex, the plaza itself isn’t exactly charming lol but the second we stepped inside, we were greeted with a beautiful, modern space. Bright, stylish, and definitely giving Tulum vibes. I loooove Tulum, so I was instantly in the mood. The atmosphere is laid-back but still upscale enough for a night out. They also have two back patios that are perfect for private events. In fact, there was a party going on while we were there. We arrived before 5pm (starving because we skipped lunch), so my bf and I sat at the bar while waiting for the rest of our group. Cocktails + Naughty Fries (bacon on the side) were the move. Think Animal Style fries but better—crispy, cheesy, savory, and perfect for sharing. I ordered the Lychee Garden and… wow. Fell so in love I ended up having three of them (don’t judge me lol). Refreshing, not too sweet, just perfect. My bf had the Oaxacan Moon, also excellent (pineapple in it though, so not my thing). Once the rest of our group arrived, we were seated in a booth. Our server Cynthia was great, she was busy but super helpful, offering solid recommendations. What we ordered: Spanish Shrimp & Mussels – My friend loved it and cleaned the plate (she skipped the bread, but only because she’s not a bread person). Carnitas Tradicionales – The twins ordered this. Flavor-packed and wrapped in a banana leaf for extra presentation points. Smash Burger – Tasty but massive! My friend was glad to share it so nothing went to waste. If you love a huge burger, this is for you. Filete Los Cabos Con Camaron – My dish! Grilled bass topped with shrimp, served with jalapeño garlic butter. I also ordered extra flash-fried serranos (love my food super spicy). At first glance, the plating looked plain, but one bite changed my mind. Absolute perfection, flavors blended beautifully. Cocktails we tried: Lychee Garden – My fave. Had 3. Refreshing, not sweet. New go-to. Oaxacan Moon – Not spicy but so delicious. Bf had 2. Lemon Drop Perfection w/ Guava – Good but super light, almost no alcohol kick. Lemon Drop Perfection (regular) – I asked for an extra shot. Much better lol. Mirame– Pretty weak, gave more mocktail vibes. Worth to note that all portions are huge and the prices are really reasonable, a great value. Cynthia mentioned a live band at 7pm, so we stuck around. Loved the music, and by then the place was packed and buzzing. This place checks all the boxes — fun atmosphere, killer portions, strong flavors, fun cocktails, and live music. A total vibe and easily a new favorite. Can’t wait to come back, especially to try the Happy Hour!

Dividing this review into service, food, and ambiance Service Great service, we were seated down quickly and the staff circled back after we asked for more time to review the menu. It took < 10 mins from ordering to receiving the appetizers and another 5-10 mins or so for the main dishes to come out. Food We ordered the carnitas sliders, the ceviche (a popular appetizer at Luna), pasta Del Mar, and enchiladas. The ceviche was fresh and the tostada chip was crispy throughout the course of the meal. They’re very generous with the amount of shrimp as well. Pasta Del Mar, please eat it when it’s fresh out of the kitchen, the flavors aren’t too bold, it’s subtle such that you won’t get overwhelmed as you continue to dig into the dish. The enchiladas was good, the green sauce actually has a kick! The carnitas in the sliders were juicy! Ambiance We came for Friday dinner and there were live music setup, what an immaculate vibe. The interior design and setup are so gorgeous, giving this restaurant an elevated look. It’s a nice gem to the city and don’t be misled by the location of this restaurant. I love how it’s conveniently located in a shopping center so it wasn’t hard to find parking at all. Will be coming back

Such a cute, aesthetic spot! I went to lunch with my best friend and it was such a vibe. The server was super nice, and both the food and drinks were delicious. I’ve already gone back and plan to keep coming for happy hour. Honestly, I think it’s the best happy hour in Long Beach!

The Luna Bistro & Cafe in Long Beach is such a great addition to our city. They have done such a great job on the whole interior decoration of their restaurant. Along with that they have created a great menu for you to choose from. We have had several delicious dishes there and cocktails over all of our visits. They also offer a great happy hour menu for you to enjoy. Those crunch tacos are so tasty! Our last visit we sat in the patio which was quite refreshing. Make sure that you make reservations because they get busy. Enjoy.

Brought my friend for her birthday and she made this place look good. Start was very friendly, seated quickly, food arrived quickly. Sunday night and they had live entertainment that we weren't expecting. So we didn't get to catch up as much as we expected to. So check the schedule beforehand. There were a variety of people young and old, singles and groups. The bar and main room was beautifully lit and spacious seating. Entering the restaurant makes you immediately want to eat. The garlic smell is so welcoming. Honestly, I wanted to love this place so I think I'm going to come back and try other dishes. The two pastas we got were not a big hit. Chicken was under seasoned and hard and the shrimp was also under seasoned. We're definitely coming again!!! Holiday cocktails and desserts were all cream based so I couldn't try those. My friend got the cheesecake and said it was really good! Tasted homemade instead of the frozen kind every restaurant serves! She said her "speakeasy" tasted like a really well flavored old fashioned and she loved it. We're not giving up! We'll be back... with more friends!

I stopped by LUNA Bistro Café during their happy hour (2pm–5pm) and loved everything I ordered. I tried the Border Crunchy Tacos, Nachos con Chorizo, New York cheesecake, and a mimosa — every item was delicious. The tacos were crispy and flavorful, the nachos with chorizo had the perfect balance of toppings, and the cheesecake was creamy and rich. The mimosa was a great touch and paired well with the meal. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back!
